In addition to our laundry service, 5 Boro Laundry offers pick-up & delivery of professional dry cleaning on a wide range of garments. Many of today’s garments are made from delicate and expensive materials which can not be processed and cleaned through simply washing and drying. Our professional and eco friendly dry cleaning plant allows for a thorough cleaning of delicate items to remove stains such as oils and grease and can prevent many items from shrinking.
When should you consider dry cleaning and item:
Put your dry cleaning in its own bag, separate from wash & fold, and tell us about any stains when you book.

Each piece is checked for stains and fabric care needs, then cleaned with eco-friendly solvents in our own plant.
Pressed, steamed and delivered. Standard turnaround is 2 to 3 days. Need it sooner? Ask about same-day or next-day options.
Suits and blazers. Dresses and silk blouses. Wool coats and knitwear. Linen shirts. Pieces with beading or embellishments. Company uniforms (see our uniform laundry service). If the tag says dry clean only, send it our way.
Look for the care label inside the collar or side seam. A plain circle means professional dry cleaning. A circle with a line through it means don’t dry clean. “Dry clean only” means exactly that. Wool, silk, linen and suede usually need dry cleaning, and so do garments with colors that run or fabrics that shrink in water. Not sure? Send it with a note and we’ll tell you what it needs.
