NO! There are no fees associated with pick-up or delivery. We will pick-up ANY amount of laundry. However, there is a minimum charge per order of $37.95.
YES! Our intuitive booking tool allows for the customer to include any specifications related to Wash & Fold or Dry Cleaning. Just simply indicate any specifications in the note section within the booking tool.
Here at 5 Boro Laundry, we only use premium products such as Tide, Gain & All (Free & Clear) detergents. As for fabric softeners, we use Downy or Suavitel. As a standard practice we bleach all whites with Clorox and include Bounce Dryer Sheets within your laundered garments.
Laundry bags are the preferred method of packaging. We accept any bag as long as it can be sealed. We do not accept tote bags or laundry hampers which have an open top. If you happen to send your items in a disposable bag such as a trash bag, we will return your items to you in a clean, clear plastic bag. You do have an option to purchase a 30x40 heavy duty laundry bag with shoulder strap. Just inform our team members!
On the scheduled day of pick-up or delivery, you will receive an automated e-mail or text once the driver is en route to your home or office. Additionally, our drivers will reach out via phone or text to inform you of their estimated time of arrival.
Although it is recommended you are present for pick-up and delivery, it is not required. Many customers will either leave garments in safe location and inform our team upon pick-up and will instruct the same for delivery. We do also pick-up from the building Doorman. Please be advised if you chose to leave your items unattended for either pick-up or delivery, 5 Boro Laundry is not responsible for any thefts that may occur in the interim.
Sure! We offer a service called "Hang Dry", these garments are washed separately and then placed on a hanger post wash to Air Dry. Please note, depending upon time between pick-up and delivery, these items may arrive back wet or damp. If you require these items to be completely dried, please allow extra time for delivery.
Wash & Fold items are generally returned back within 24 hours of pick-up. Dry Cleaning items are generally returned back within 48 hours of pick-up
Upon scheduling your order, you will be required to enter a valid credit card to reserve your pick-up spot. Once your garments are brought back to our facility, we will sort them and e-mail you an itemized bill. Prior to delivery, your credit card will be charged for the order. Should you need to update billing information, you can do so online through our booking tool or by calling and speaking with a team member.
Yes we do provide color separation at an additional cost as specified in our pricing page.
Yes! You can include both wash & fold and dry cleaning in one order. We ask that you include your dry clean items in a separate bag and indicate which bag pertains to dry clean in the note section upon scheduling the order.
