As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to impact our community, it is important that we work together to combat the spread of this unprecedented virus. While monitoring recommendations issued by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Center for Disease Control (CDC), we at 5 Boro Laundry feel that it is important to share with you the necessary steps we are taking to ensure the safety of our customers and employees:

Share the importance of proper hand washing with our employees
Educate our employees on the symptoms of COVID-19
Mandate all employees who feel sick to remain at home
Clean & sanitize all folding tables after every order
Equip delivery drivers with hand sanitizer and work gloves for pick-up / delivery
Ensure all vehicles are properly sanitized after every shift
Delivery
As our valued customers, we want to make sure you feel safe and assure you that we are taking all the necessary precautions to ensure your safety as well as the safety of our staff. As a result, we will be implementing a contact-less pick-up and delivery protocol. You will be contacted in advance of any pick-up or delivery with an estimated time of arrival. In the case of a pick-up, we ask that the items are left in front of your door for our drivers to retrieve. In the case of a delivery, your items will be placed in front of your door and you will be notified by the driver. In accordance with the NYC directive, we have reduced the number of staff members present during each shift. As a result, our 24 hour turnaround guarantee has now been extended to 48 hours. We apologize for any inconvenience and ask that you schedule your order accordingly.
